About Us

 We came back to the land to heal. We learned from the Indigenous people of Guatemala every act in gardening is sacred and healing. There are moments when we feel out of place in this high tech, social media world.

Our growing and designing methods might seem old-fashioned to some, but they are rooted in a deep respect for the earth and design principles.

It makes us wonder if there’s still a place for the wisdom we’ve cultivated through the years of tending the land and working with flowers in a sustainable way.

Susan loves growing, designing and dreaming in flowers. She struggled with big wedding venues — the scents, the wastefulness, the stress of tight timelines, the late night takedowns. Our goal is to align our business practices with the permaculture gardening principles of earth care, people care and fair share. 

So we designed and built a wedding venue in nature that sits gently on the land, where the set up and take down are as gentle as the weddings we host. Where nature is on full display.

We believe love is for everyone, and we proudly provide an inclusive, welcoming space where all couples, including 2SLGBTQ+ clients, feel celebrated.
