Gather in front of the wood stove for a unique gardening experience at Foraged Florals’ permaculture flower farm in New Ross. Nestled in the forest, you’ll hear expert insights and learn how to create your own living moss garden. Feel the textures of the different mosses, learn about their meaning, and tap into your creativity as you shape your garden. Living moss gardens are ever changing, as spring bulbs bloom and provide a beautiful connection to nature indoors over the winter months. Before or after your workshop, head over to The Hearth Room Café for all day brunch, lunch or a latte and house made treats.

  • A 2 hour Moss Garden Workshop at Foraged Florals: learn the meaning of moss and design principles to create a 12-inch living garden to take home with you to enjoy over the winter months.
  • All required materials. You take home your new moss garden!
  • Enjoy the aroma and taste of traditional Nova Scotia (non-alcoholic) mulled cider, heated on the wood stove in our onsite cabin.
