Kokedama is an ancient Japanese garden art form rooted in a belief that beauty lies in imperfections. Kokedama has become popular as an elegant home or office feature, promoting calm, a connection with nature, and air purification.
“Koke” means moss and “dama” means ball. Inside the moss covering is a ball of organic soil mixed with vermiculite, worm castings and biochar. Seeds or plants are then inserted into the moss covered mud ball. Water the base and watch the seeds sprout!
