Plant A Spring Planter Workshop!
For anyone hesitant to plant your own planter, this is a workshop for you! You go home with a spring planter and the know-how to plant any size planter.
Plus, this workshop is a great Mother's Day gift!
With Susan Larder, floral designer, you will learn:
- planting tips
- plant selection
- after care and watering tips
All materials provided for you. This includes a black metal planter 8” h x 9” w, soil, fertilizer, and two 6” pots and a four pack of plants from T&D Nursery in the Forties.
We’ll meet at T&D Nursery, 1503 Forties Rd, Forties, where you select your two 6” pots and a four pack (included in workshop fee). You can buy other plants while at T&D if you wish.
At T&D Nursery, we will match plants to your environment, make colour choices to complement your home environment, and shapes to consider for your planter.
Once finished at T&D, we’ll return to Foraged Florals to plant your spring planter.
Plus, bring photos and measurements of your planters at home and Susan will make recommendations for plants and design. Know if your planter will go in full sun, part sun or shade. Know the colours and features you want your planter to harmonize with in your home environment.

Where: Meet at T&D Nursery, 1503 Forties Rd., then to Foraged Florals.
